sad face

To start this off with a semi-positive note, Michigan voted against that stupid ass bridge proposal, emergency manager crap, and that horrible energy bill.

At least we did one thing right.

Granted, we showed the lack of brains on the biggest thing of all:

I am disappointed.

And quite frankly...

terrified.

I have begged myself to be positive, to see the light, to see any good in what he who shall not be named has done for our country.  I want to support he who shall not be named and wave my little dime store flag with a big ole patriotic smile on my face.

I am still begging, and that dime store flag has been firmly jammed into the jugular of the closest victim.

Apparently, America didn't learn after this four years of recession, job loss, suffering and lies.  Please sir, can I have another?

Maybe we suffer from Stockholm Syndrome and have now begun to sympathize with our abuser.

I don't believe that he will fix the economy that he destroyed.  I don't believe a damned thing he says about LGBT rights, since he didn't bring them up until the end, and was dead set against them when he ran for President in 2008 (refresh your memory here).  Hell, I don't believe that Bin Laden is dead.  You don't find a magical unicorn, the Loch Ness monster, Sasquatch, then tell everyone, "Oh, we didn't take pictures.  We don't have proof.  We just dumped him in the ocean."

I call "Wag The Dog".

I do also find it quite fascinating that our United States soldiers, approximately 70,000 of them, stationed overseas, not seeing their families for months on end, protecting us and putting their lives on the line every single day, never received their absentee ballots and, therefore, were unable to vote at all.

But yet, he who shall not be named, wins.

Things that make you go "Hmmm..."

So, needless to say, I am wearing a sad face.

*sigh* I will try to be positive in that maybe something good will happen.  Maybe LGBT will get the rights they deserve.  Maybe we will actually start creating jobs here instead of in China and India.

Until then, it is time to grab the koolaid, the vaseline and our ankles...

It's going to be a long four years.

Peace, Love and (i've never looked so forward to the zombie apocalypse ever) Zombies \IiiI

Jon Stewart said last night, "we may have had an election but is the same f&^%$ng thing for four more years". I agree. I would love to be hopeful and like you will try but I am seriously looking at the world around me saying "really?"
I voted for Gary Johnson for President.....the Libertarian candidate....the x governor of my state.....the man who wanted to legalize marijuana....at least we could have dulled the pain. Oma Linda
