Don took me shopping yesterday and I finally got clothes that fit. That was awesome alone. But yet there was something even more awesomer (yes, it is a word...now). I found out I am a size 8/10 and can wear a small to medium shirt. Holy scheisse!!! I never had so much fun clothes shopping in my entire life! Right off the rack, right onto my rack, and right into my house! Damn I am *H O T*!!!
18 days...just 18 days before I arrive at the top of the age hill. Okay, so I will only be 40, but that just feels so *old*. Too bad I had to wait until now to become a sexy momma, but hey, a MILF at any age seems okay to me.
I feel bad for Don. He has been working his poor butt off, leaving at 530 in the morning and not getting home until 730 at night. He is damned good at his job, and I am so very proud of all he does, but he is just worn out. While we were eating a late lunch after our shopping trip (never eat before trying on clothes...duh) he started to get that look on his face. That "I need to fix the world and fix it right now" look. I know it won't last forever, and I have made sure to tell him the same, but, like this neverending winter, it feels like it will last forever. I just want him to find rest and peace in everything.
Watched "The A-Team" and "Knight and Day" this weekend. Liked them both :). Yeah, I know, Tom Cruise is a total idiot, but he wasn't so bad.
Thank you, Mejis, for introducing us to the Warning Label Generator. It is my new best friend :).
