thursday thunks

High up on the rooftop - look! A falling crayon!

Welcome to the April 22nd version of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!

We pick a subject, and your job is to interpret it anyway you want. Write about it on your blog... simple as that. Maybe you can interpret it as a picture - we don't care!
Please only leave a link if you have written a Thursday Thunks post. Please mention us in your post, and link back to the blog here.
Don't forget to go visit the other participants' blogs. Read and comment about all their Thursday Thunks! Thats what all this is about afterall, isn't it? We'll have so much fun and become lifelong friends....
The TT questions are brought to you by Berleen, the color of peanut butter cups and the number 10.

Have you ever been in a play or musical? Were you in the drama club in high school? I started doing musicals when I was in Kindergarten. I was in Drama Club and Choir my entire life, which is probably why my daughters are the same way.

You are walking down the road and the cops fly by you and stop at the house just a little ways down the street. It's the way you were going to go... do you take a detour to avoid it or do you just keep walking because, hey - you had the idea first! or do you walk by out of complete curiosity? I just keep going. Curious if they found the body I buried there last year...

I drop a green crayon from the roof and Kimber drops a yellow one - which one will grow wings and fly before it hits the ground? They will morph into one and fly away together as a really gross puke green crayon.

What is the first section of the grocery store you go to? And I know that sentence doesn't sound right, but I don't care. I always go to the non-food sections first, ie, shampoo, razors, lotions, etc. Don't know why, but if I don't it feels weird.

Do you like questions that have a yes or no answer or do you like to actually think for yourself and come up with something original? Maybe.

The wall directly in front of you... whats on it? A print of a painting of children in a school yard during Laura Ingalls' time. Need something new...this worked when I was homeschooling, now, not so much.

Sea salt? Great for foods and foot scrub.

420. You know what it is. It's a time, it's a day, it's a way of life. Did you celebrate yesterday? If you are referring to TWLOHA Day, then yes. If you aren't, then, no.

Can you read a tape measure? Like a book...a really thin book...with numbers.

The city/town/village that you live in... it's population is.....???? Oxford, Michigan, a population of a little over 4000.

If a laptop fell out of the sky do you think you could catch it? And if you did, do you think it's Finders Keepers? Yes I could, and it depends on what kind it is. If it is an Apple, I will gently place it on the ground and stomp the shit out of it, just because Apple-ites drive me nuts :).

Driving down the highway, driving down the interstate, driving down a dirt road that you are sure goes absolutely nowhere... whats the longest distance you have ever driven in one trip? Over 2000 miles between El Paso, Texas and Goodrich, Michigan with my husband. Alone, it would be the 250 miles between Albuquerque, New Mexico and El Paso. Best drive on the planet!

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
One...tahoooo...three...*crunch*! Three.

The place you live has only 4000 people!! The campus I work on has more undergraduates than your town has people! Is it one of those places where everyone knows what everyone is doing? :)

I love your "body" comments ~ I use similar ones myself...I think the guys at work don't know if I'm serious sometimes. :)

It gets harder and harder to find a good place to get rid dead bodies. lol
Dang, your town is small! I thought ours was, but you have us beat. I feel for you.

Ber@ Sure! Some of the best foot scrub in the world is made with sea salt! Makes the skin very soft and smooth :).
