for the week

For Today...
10 August, 2009
`
Outside my Window...
Humid as hell and not much better inside. Everything is green and needs to be mowed in a major way
`
I am thinking...
Why in the world I do these things since right now my life exists only within these four wall, with the occasional adventure to Meijers or Blockbuster. How wierd it is going to be not going to class registration tomorrow at SoF.
`
From the learning rooms...
Going to start the girls back on the SOS work today, just to get their brains a-pumping, maybe some history with Stephanie, just to see the look I get when I tell her.
`
I am thankful for...
My tiny portable a/c unit in the living room
`
From the kitchen...
Nothing, but this evening I will be preparing the chicken to bbq and making pasta salad.
`
I am wearing...
Flannel pj pants, Don's shirt, pink socks
`
I am reading...
Book three in the Black Dagger Brotherhood and "The Perfect Paragon" by M.C Beaton
`
I am hoping...
That we get a spot in the Goodrich co-op for Sierra and Savannah. What happened to me affects them too, and I hate it so much.
`
I am creating...
a seed bead...er...thing...
`
I am hearing...
the hawks and crows outside, a/c unit running in the living room
`
Around the house...
the usual, work work work
`
One of my favorite things...
Short timers list for El Paso
`
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
Getting on the treadmill despite the fact that it is 80 degrees back there
`
A Picture Thought I Am Sharing With You:
A picture of my hubs back in 1990, just before I met him. He is the stud on the left, and the stud on the right was his friend Kinman, aka Kimo. How could I have *not* fallen for a man like that I ask you????

Hell is what ya make it lol. SOS is "Switched-On Schoolhouse", a computer curriculumn with language, math, science and history. The girls love it.

I will certainly miss you and the girls at co-op this year. I'm so glad we had the chance to meet and get to know each other.
