good day gentle readers

For Today...8 September 2008

Outside my Window...I can hear the hawks, blue jays and finches chirping away, reminding me that I need to refill the birdfeeder, and cars that drive too fast down my road that I wish would hit a pothole

From the learning rooms...starting our new General Science book, checking out the fossils we made, honing our writing skills and having a great time doing it

I am thankful for...a God who forgives me for having such anger inside me over things I cannot prevent or change

From the kitchen...the beeping of the microwave nuking lunch, the scents of chicken nuggets, window cleaner and incense

I am wearing...jeans (duh), one pink and one black fuzzy sock, and a grey Michigan T-shirt

I am reading...the new Bead and Button magazine, wishing I had a tenth of the talent some of these women have

I am hoping...that I can open my heart to what God has planned, instead of what I want planned, because my plans involve quilt pins and a dart gun...

I am creating...a clean home one room at a time

I am hearing...the leaves rustling in the wind, and the birds again letting me know that I need to get their feeder filled...or else...

Around the house...I see projects galore that stare at me, making me feel guilty, but only for a second, then I ignore them again

One of my favorite things...seeing the light go on in my daughters' eyes when they have an "ah-ha" moment

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...go out with my friends tonight for dinner, laughs and convo, soccer, church craziness, prayer, lots of prayer, some more prayer, return movies and read about how other women grind wheat.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you... My sanctuary, a place where rumors and pain and deceit cannot touch you, only love and freedom and caring and the truth live.

Thank you for doing this! I nearly forgot! (Of course, I SHOULD be writing, not checking blogs, but that's another story!)
