pay no attention to the man behind the curtain

I have often shared the fact that I was raised a Freemason.  Freemasonry is a highly secretive, very ritual driven, extremely male dominated cult/religion.  It is quite bizarre when I watch these programs or see the books based on or about Freemasonry, simply because that was my life.  I have to tell you one thing though: the stuff they tell you on t.v., the stuff they write about in books...smoke, mirrors and total bs.

99 times out of a hundred, these "experts" on cults and/or Freemasonry were never a part of it.  They didn't grow up in it.  They didn't live and experience it.  They are taking snippets of info they get from Wikipedia and  what they heard from some guy who heard it from guy and then expounding on it.  And then there are the times that they have been a part, but they won't tell you *anything* for fear of being punished, whether it is being shunned by family and order or, in some cases, violence.

They also never, ever focus on the female parts of the cult: The Order Of The Rainbow For Girls and The Eastern Stars.

I was in both.  I was dedicated, lived, breathed, kept the secrets of and protected every aspect of it.  Below are the symbols of the two groups:

The symbol for the Rainbow for Girls.  The B F C L stand for "Bible", "Flag", "Country" and "Lambskin".  The "R" stands for "Rainbow".  The joined hands represent community and friendship and the pot of gold is just that: the treasure waiting at the end of the rainbow.

The symbol of the Eastern Star:  Each point represents a specific female in the Bible: Blue is Adah, Yellow is Ruth, White is Esther, Green is Martha and Red is Electa.  The letters surrounding the altar in the center is FATAL, meaning "Fairest Amongst Thousands, Altogether Lovely".  And, before you say it, yes, it is a pentagram, for all its nasty connotations and stigma.

Just like the iceberg that took out the Titanic, what they tell you through public media is just the tip of the truth that lays below the surface.

Over the next few days, weeks, who knows, maybe months, I am going to tell you what they won't: the truth, from the side of the dominated, dedicated female of a widely known, scarcely understood, unbelievably secretive cult that is so much in your face you don't even know it is there.

This should be fun.

Peace, Love and (the truth will get her shunned) Zombies \IiiI

Awesome! We watch those shows all the time and we've always wondered what the woman's role was in all of this. I really look forward to your upcoming posts! So will "Rainman!" :) Yeah, I share with him. We're cool like that.

I have my personal conception of the symbol were discussing, and I may use one of the following...

^_- stands for I am winking at you boldly standing fresh out of a cold shower in the summer with the fan blowing in my direction...LOL

or maybe

?/O_o/-- stands for I was looking for the mouse on the floor then I slipped and hit my head since I was still wet from the cold shower....LOL

Oh yes, I shall have to read your dissertation on the CULT of Personalities....LOL

Your twin Jesse....

I'm terribly annoyed by experts. I remember sitting at a child custody, listening to an orthodox Christian giving his expert opinion on why a "Witch lifestyle doesn't allow the proper nurturing of a child." After listening to all that nonsense, I've made it a point never to pay attention to certain experts. The man had more degrees than a thermometer, but he had no clue about Witchcraft.

I believe no one can explain something as well as a person who has experienced the thing. So, please, do do educate us on what Freemasonry. I love learning new things!

P.S. I have no idea why the BFCL symbol looks like a sperm to me.
