stuff

Haven't been around for a while. Y'all have probably been happy about that lol. The reason: my hubs tried to work some magic and combine a phone or two and ended up cutting off our internet at the same time. We are now up and running again and have U-verse to figure out now. What a pain in the ass!

Anyhoo, St. Patrick's Day was my birthday and it just kind of came and went. My hubs did get me my tattoo which was a complete surprise. The other surprise was the fact the original idea morphed into something awesome...and bigger. *Waaaaaay bigger*. My original thought was a simple lotus flower with the word "relax" under it on my wrist. Then, I thought it would be cool to get a lotus with a frog sitting in, well, the lotus position. *Then* I thought that it would be really cool to incorporate Don into the tattoo a bit. He brought up his favorite animal, the rhino, and we both went, "Hmmm....". Unbeknownst to me, he went to our local tattoo artist (who did my rosary for the girls) and told them his idea. The lady artist there, Marna, came up with an unbelievable tattoo and this baby was born:

This pic was taken the day after the tattoo was done. It graduated from a small wrist tattoo to half my lower leg lol. It took four painful hours, but I completely love it! The lotus is Don reminding me to relax and the rhino is him protecting me, *or*, it is the softer side of me (the lotus) and the kickass side of me (the rhino). Mess with the Queen Texan Zombie Goddess, you get the horns! My leg is slowly becoming a gallery for the tattoo artist, Austin, from "American Pride Tattoo" :). I even got to go to Joe's Crab Shack with my bestie, Theresa (whom I corrupted and now has her first tattoo too :):):))!

Just purchased some incense from the lovely Shelly at her Etsy shop. Wonderful stuff!! I highly recommend her, her blog and her incense!

I am having a bitch of a time getting back on the WW train. Being an 8/10 and relatively happy with myself for the first time in 14 years has made me complacent as hell. I want to lose the last 25 lbs., but damn I have become *lazy*. It pisses me off. I will get back on that train, I know I will. It is hard to find the motivation when it is still colder hell and snowing and cold and miserable and cold and shitty outside. Still hiding under sweatshirts and giant jackets is wearing me the fuck down. *sigh*. Motivate me people!!!!

BTW, "Red" rocks. Watch it.

Okay, I'm done. Been real.

Peace, Love and (my tat is the *bomb*!) Zombies \IiiI

I'm so totally un-motivated to lose weight right now :( I haven't lost any weight, but I've gone down 2 pants sizes ???? can we say... weird... I even had to check and re-assure myself it wasn't a case of droopy butt... LOL

When you find some motivation, please share!

LOVE the tat and Happy Belated Birthday! My youngest got his first tat and of course is planning his second and his third.. The hubby and I are going together to get our first tats very soon, altho it won't be the 4 hr.s of torture you endured - at least not for me! I'm starting out with something small!
