bring on the gluttony!

You waited for it, now here it is!

After I drop off the youngest at school, I will head over to the store and pick up a couple paczkis (pronounced poonch-key), to have for dessert after dinner tonight. Until I moved here to Michigan, I had never heard of these little Polish delights. These ever-slimming 450 calorie, 25 grams of fat, filled with everything from Bavarian Creme to (gag) Prune, doughnut (yes, I spell it the old-fashioned way). For dinner we will have my famous chicken and rice casserole, probably a glass of wine. Good times.

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is definitely on my bucket list, although I will more than likely never get there.

I am the only one in the house who observes Lent. I'm not catholic, although I love Virgin De Guadalupe iconatry. I just...do. Getting closer to something bigger than me. Putting aside things that make me unhappy, obsessed, or hold my heart negatively when only the positive should.

So, enjoy your one day of utter, total, all-consuming gluttony, for tomorrow we focus our hearts, minds and souls to more.

Peace, Love and (i'm not giving anything up...i'm letting something in) Zombies \IiiI

I started with insane amounts of coffee. I'm sure I can finds lots of baked, fried, baked again, and then refried stuff to do the trick ;-

And just so you know, you inspired my "Brainz"

yes, I still have incense for sale. I currently have "Bless My Home" and "Harm-me-Not" available. I plan to get them on etsy later tonight.
