In horrendously vile, horribly boring, devastatingly white bread, severely lacking in any type of culture Michigan, Cinco de Mayo isn't celebrated, except for maybe on the one street in Detroit called "Mexicantown" or at the local "mexican" food restaurant where margaritas will be 2-for-1. While that it is all well and good, it isn't like home. Back in the olden days, when I lived in my precious, loving El Paso, we would party. Celebrate. Dance. Eat. Have fun. Listen to fabulous music. I miss that a whole lot. Sigh....
Anyhoo, pity party over :)! If you would like to know more about the background on Cinco De Mayo, go here and learn what the hoopla is all about!
Feliz Cinco de Mayo con todos mis amigos y familia!

Hola! Happy Cinco de Mayo! There isnt anything fun here, either...but 2 for 1 Margies sound good to me...even at 738am. I made the best ones, one time from a Martha Stewart recipe. They were toasted coconut Margaritas. YUMMM
:)Amanda
BTW, check these cool vamp/zombie nails...
