friday fill in

1. One week ago today it was Friday. Coincidence? I think not.

2. I had so many dreams when I was young. Now, I'm just old and living through my children.

3. Mama told me lots of stuff.

4. Society needs to be weary of creatures like you and me.

5. Take your time and enjoy life. It all goes away so fast.

6. I have heard the saying, "This to shall pass!" I just wish it would hurry up so I can get to the good things in life.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to nothing really, tomorrow my plans include taking the kids on a tour of the Coca-cola plant their aunt works at and Sunday, I want to do something...else...yeah!

This is a pic of our homeschooling cabinet. All the girls books are here, stacked up nicely in and around each other. I know that this is co-op Friday as well. I miss homeschooling. I miss co-op for the most part. I miss the friends I made. Don't think they even notice we are not there anymore because it was always so busy. I wish like hell that what happened hadn't, and maybe things could have been different. So now, I sit here, while the girls are at school, doing housework and at times feeling incredibly lonely. Some of the ladies and kids at co-op meant, and still do mean, a lot to me. I hope they are all okay...

Always a sad thing when friendships are lost. I have lost contact with what was once a close friend.......and I'm not even sure why. I have tried to reach out several times, but the response has been kind of flat. I decided to move on...and like you, wonder if she realizes "we" are gone. I can still feel some sadness when I would really like to share an event or news with her.

I couldn't stand to look all at our stuff on the bookshelves, thinking about what should have been and could have been. I packed it all up and sold it at a curriculum sale. I hope someone else is enjoying it all. I've moved on with a new home-after-school project. Sophia and I are both taking a French class (not together - mine is at the local community college)so I make sure that I speak to her in French whenever I have sufficient grammar to compose a complete sentence! It's great practice but I'm not sure she likes hearing "Excuse me for disturbing you but it's morning. Get up!" in French at 5:45am!

I missed you today, Penny! Before co-op I was thinking I'd get to talk to you today and then I realized I wouldn't. :-(

I miss you, too!
And, I miss your girls.

I'm not of aware of what happened... nobody ever said. But, I do miss sitting and chatting with you.
