mj free zone (if you like him, don't read this)

WARNING: I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THE MICHAEL JACKSON FUNERAL FREAK SHOW AND I AM VENTING HERE. IF YOU ARE A DIE-HARD FAN, JUST STOP HERE. DON'T READ TO SEE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY. JUST WALK AWAY. IF YOU READ, AND LEAVE ME A NASTY COMMENT, IT WILL BE ERASED. THIS IS MY OPINION, MY BLOG, MY RANT, MY RULES.

THAT BEING SAID, HERE WE GO....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everywhere you look, there it is. Plastic skin...plastic face...plastic nose... Michael Jackson. Plastered allllll over the place.
Not here.
No pics of this paedophile.
No pics of this washed up singer.
No pics of his ridiculous fiasco of a funeral.
He hadn't done anything for 8 years except for dangle his son out a window, have very inappropriate contact with little boys, and try to become a human form of silly putty. Now, he is suddenly a god. But he was no god. He was a "man", deeply disturbed, mentally wounded, incredibly talented but horribly tortured.
Guess what else is happening in the world besides the funeral of this side-show freak:
-Chinese people are being wiped out by Muslim extremists.
-Americans are being killed in Iraq, sacrificing their lives while defending our country.
-Thousands of Michigan residents are losing their jobs and cannot feed their families.
-Honduras is in the middle of a coup that has already claimed the life of an innocent teenager at the hands of its soldiers.
What? You mean the world didn't revolve around MJ? That it didn't stop when he died? That he isn't the end all, be all of the planet???? Yup, that is exactly what I am saying.
People are paying $25 and up to see MJ's body wheeled through the streets like a carnival parade, complete with elephants and zebras. It's sickening.
Guess who else died during the past few weeks:
Ed McMahon
Farrah Fawcett
Billy Mays
Steve McNair
Karl Malden
Honestly, when was the last time, before this past week, that you purposely listened to an MJ song? Bought an album? Watched a video of his on Youtube? I'm guessing it's been ages. You were busy, just like the rest of us, watching to see what facial feature would fall off or get changed or lightened up more. Waiting to see what stupid stunt he'd pull next. I'm hoping that someone does a psych paper on how this man became some religious icon when no one cared what he did until just recently.
I am most concerned with his children. What will happen to them? Will they go to his family, who are just as messed up and mental as he was? Will they be taken care of, or used to make money? My heart goes out to them.
When all is said and done, I just want to have an answer to one simple question:
When did "Wacko Jacko" become Saint Michael?
I'm just sayin'....
Am standing up and shouting an AMEN GIRLFRIEND!
I haven't watched the national news since the day CBS spent the WHOLE 1/2 hour of National News on that idiot. Holy Crap!
Hey Penny...
You forgot to mention he was a drug addict, in and out of rehab and employed "drug dealers."
He couldn't sell tickers here in the states, so his latest tour was going to Europe.
And, what about MJ showing up at court in his pajamas...walking like a zombie? No one I knew gave him a nod then... it was a joke.
When was the last time I purposely listened to his music? Not in this decade or last... probably in the early eighties and I LOVED Rockin Robin when I was an 8 year old.
It so sad to see his family and friends swooping down like vultures to cash in on his death.
It's times like these I'm glad I don't have television. Missed it all and better for it. I feel for those kids and think there probably isn't much to cash in on so everyone is pretty much out of luck. It was a tragic and unfortunate demise of a one-time amazing talent.
