simple woman's daybook

For Today...29 December 2008
`
Outside my Window
...snow is almost completely gone, it is 38 degrees, the grass has been frozen green, but we have snow coming in tonight.
`
From the learning rooms...silence. I like that.
`
I am thankful for...getting the Christmas tree out of the house, my new camera, my new hard floor vacuum and other stuff too
`
From the kitchen...Nothing because we will be leaving shortly to go to Applegate and visit with family at the farm.
`
I am wearing...Jeans, green linen shirt, sneakers, jewelry, make up to cover up my aging face.
`
I am reading...a fascinating book called "Oh S**t, It's Jesus!"
`
I am hoping...that my headache goes away, that the Christmas gifts that got lost in the mail and returned to me will actually make it to their destinations and that the snow will hold off until we come home tonight.
`
I am creating...lots of cool stuff in my head since I haven't found the time to sit down and do anything in real life.
`
One of my favorite things...Guitar Hero: World Tour
`
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...going to Applegate, finishing laundry, playing with my beads.
`
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
`

This is the new camera that Don and the girls got me for Christmas. This is a stock photo and mine is actually hot pink, but it is soooo cool! As soon as Don gives me the rest of the stuff that goes with it, like the d/l cable, I will share the pics I have taken so far :).

Take care y'all. Have a safe trip, Mom and Poppy. Let me know if that dang envelope shows up this time Naomi lol!

Can you tell me more about your hard floor vacuum? Our house is all hard floors and I've battled with the Swiffer to no avail. I hate to drag the huge vacuum all over these lovely floors but I need something that works!!
