a simple woman's daybook

`
For Today...27 October 2008
`
Outside my Window...It's cold and wet and grey and not at all friendly looking. If I didn't have to go to co-op, I'd stay right where I am and not move.
`
From the learning rooms...Co-op, working more with Savannah on her reading skills and creating fun fally stuff for the house
`
I am thankful for...singing on a Sunday morning, homemade caramel apples, birthdays and hot tea.
`
From the kitchen...The sound of the dishwasher.
`
I am wearing...Flannel pj pants, t-shire, wet towel in hair that was colored *completely* wrong. since when does "honey blonde" come out chestnut brown???
`
I am reading...A new M.C. Beaton book (yes, a new new one), my bible devotions and something I haven't chosen yet.
`
I am hoping...For answers and a calming of my restless soul.
`
I am creating...memories with my girls. What could be better?
`
I am hearing...Still just the dishwasher. It is like, scary silent, around here today.
`
Around the house...laundry, school work, melting caramel, one kitten torturing one matriarchal cat.
`
One of my favorite things...Surprise General Tsao Chicken for dinner on Saturday. Don actually went to Brandon to get some for me :).
`
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...school, starting rehearsals on the Christmas play we are doing at church with the kids, cleaning the fireplace out for the cold nights ahead.
`
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
`

When Don and I went to Chesaning, we made a day trip to Frankenmuth to go to the shops and walk around. When we were finished, we went down the embankment and sat by the Cass River, talked, and watched some little boys feeding the ducks. Such a beautiful day.

Love your About Me...heh! :)

What's wrong with "chestnut brown"? (twirling dark chestnut hair in fingers wondering what's wrong with it) :)

It's a small world! My friend April lives in Oxford, MI...her blog is http://aprilsatelier.wordpress.com/

Hey SCH!

Nothing in the world wrong with chestnut brown, not one itty bitty bit...except with you are normally blond and the box says "honey blonde" and you come out the *exact* opposite lol! Bit of a shocker, ya know heehee.
