things that should never have happened

I woke up opinionated this morning. Shocker, eh?
`
After seeing a disturbing youtube music video last night, I have come up with a few things that just should never have happened. Unfortunately, until I am able to take over the world like Pinky and the Brain, we will just have to deal with occurences like the following atrocities:

A sequel to the "Lost Boys" without Corey Haim. Okay, so the "Lost Boys" shouldn't have a sequel, since all the hottie vampires are dead anyway. No one, I say *no one*, can take the place of these vampy studs, I'm sorry ...Ohhhh Keifer....

~

The remake of "Psycho". Switching up Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh with Vince Vaugh and Anne Heche is like using grout instead of peanut butter. Don't get me wrong, Vince Vaugh is great peanut butter, just not with one of the cult classics of our lifetimes.
~

Celine Dion singing a rendition of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long"...or anything for that matter. *shiver* Vile...just vile...
`
Oh, believe me, there is more, but for the sake of pissing people off, I will keep those other opinions to myself :). These are simply the ones that, for whatever reason, just fluff my nutter right now.
`
Wanna hear something cute? I made a optical helper-outer at Target fall in love with me lol. His name is Jared. I have seen him the few times that the girls and I had our eye appointments, and have spoken to him on the phone about my contacts. I went in yesterday to pick up my contacts, and when I told the young lady behind the counter what my last name was, she looked at me and said, "Are you Miss Penny?" Only kids at church call me that, so you can understand my "huh" answer lol. Apparently when he got off the phone with me the other day he said, "I love Miss Penny!" Eyebrow cocked, the young lady asked if there was something she needed to know about their customers. He simply said, "She is always so sweet and talks so nice on the phone. I wish all our customers were like her!" That made me feel good, really good, since a good 98% of the people I know think I am a roaring beatch. See, y'all just never get to see the *real* me (or refuse to)...like Jared the optical helper boy...sad, isn't it???
`
I'll wind this up with a few movies nods and nos, k?
`
Funny Games: No. Could have gone some place interesting, and, okay, I get the idea that the director is trying to make a statement, but, come on, will ya? If my husband ever acted like *that* in a crisis, if he lived, I'd kill him my own dang self.
`
The Seeker: Cute movie, good for kids and adults with some time on their hands. Kind of disjointed, but all in all decent.
`
Frightworld: I want the 10 minutes I spent watching this travesty back. Period.
`
The Weathering Continent: An anime movie that made absolutely no sense at all. Searching for water, find a shrine, tick off some masks', go searching for water, the end. Yeah. Stephanie and I had to watch "Akira" again just feel like our evening wasn't completely wasted.
`
Alrighty then, I'm done. Time to start getting ready for the big ole camping trip we are taking off on on Friday. Warner Camp, Orchard Beach, Mackinac Island, the UP...it'll be fun. Anyone want to take care of my cat and some fish???

I saw that Psycho remake - because Maryann wanted to see Viggo Mortensen in it. It was terrible. @@
