around the pillars they go

Open the doors of heaven
around the pillars they go
speaking out of turn
meets with banishment and confusion

Open the doors of heaven
around the pillars they go
birth of many come
meets with love and life

Open the doors of death
she falls
sadness and pain of loss
one lost, many brought forth

Open the doors of the abyss
words of lament and regret
eating the feast laid at the table of darkness
eternity fades away

Open the doors of decay
too late to be saved
flesh falls away leaving blood and bone
a love disappears into the void

Seal the doors of eternity
shut away from the light above
anger threatens the life of a thousand
the promise of another saves a thousand more

Open the doors of heaven
around the pillars they go
what gives life strips it away
with a word, a whisper and a soul

My interpretation of the legend of Izanami-no-Mikoto
the Goddess of Creation and Death

These words gave me chills... I felt like I was looking down and through the birth canal protected with nothing but the uncertainty that there would be change; for good or for bad, something will change. Life or death...
