all well on the home front

Sophia has spent her first full day here in the states and seems to be doing well. As always, my 10 year old has won over another person, and her and Sophia are getting along beautifully. Today, she had practice at the high school and then we went over to a friends' house to hang out for a while. She told me she had fun, so I hope she really did and isn't just being polite lol.

Had my WW meeting today and I am down another 3 lbs. :). Granted, my scale here says 4 lbs, but down is down! I am a hair away from being only 20 lbs. from my goal weight. I never thought I'd see this day!

Don has to go back to New York week after next which is a bit of a bummer for a few reasons. Number one is that Sophia will still be here and he won't be able to see her off when she leaves. Number two: he goes alone this time. While this is normally not a big deal, it is during the crappiest time of year, so I will be worried about his safety. I hate worrying :(. He did, though, get to bring home a Buick Enclave for the weekend from work and it is SWEET!!! I want one soooo bad but, let's face it, a noon aide's pay won't even start to cover the montly payment on a $50,000 vehicle lol.

I have officially decided that I am doing my lotus tattoo. I know Don still thinks it is silly, but this is *my* birthday present to *me*, and I don't think I should have constraints on that lol. Afterall, we aren't talking nipple piercing hehee. I know he will be fine with it in the end.

Okay, I am off to bed. Have a goodin' y'all!

Peace, Love and (lucky stars anyone?) Zombies \IiiI

Glad Sophia is doing okay. I'm sure she means it, even if she is a bit nervous. Being so far away from home is always a bit aerie.

WoooHooo to the ink. Can't wait to see it.

Now, about Sophia... if I here anything about you trying to become and Tiger Mom, I'll find you a beat you into zombiehood. Hehehehe, could't help saying that. I just read a few Tiger Mothers reviews and couldn't believe some of the things that woman said: wow, I guess my mom was not as psychotically strict as I thought!

I contemplated giving myself a nipple piercing for my birthday but I'm thinking thats too gay cliche and will prolly settle for a new tattoo as well.
