a new week

For Today...
21 September, 2009
`
Outside my Window...
Pitch black, pouring rain. Smells great.
`
I am thinking...
My head and body are killing me from the amount of work we did the other day in the yard. The pine tree is now pine ash in my firepit, the neighbors' fallen oak is almost finished being cut up, my tiny little soon-to-be garden is completely emptied. So much done, so much more to do. And oh yeah, God and I need to have a talk...pronto.
`
From the learning rooms...
Um, damn, not a thing, at least not today.
`
I am thankful for...
Finished projects, finished laundry and sinus medication
`
From the kitchen...
Coffee, and this is probably all for today.
`
I am wearing...
pj pants, tshirt, socks, pink robe
`
I am reading...
"A Spoonful of Poison" by M.C. Beaton
`
I am hoping...
The both Don and I feel better soon. This weekend caused the creeping cruds to leave the girls and enter us. I get to take care of the worst patient ever: my husband lol.
`
I am creating...
Not sure...I'll get back to you on that one
`
I am hearing...
Don on his work computer, rain falling, dishwasher
`
Around the house...
Nothing major...yet.
`
One of my favorite things...
right now, my opportunity to go back to bed after the girls are on the bus.
`
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
Ortho appointment for Sierra, more food shopping, whatever else gets dropped into my lap...

They are giant rock marbles. Each were a different color, but now they are cracked and faded and beautiful lol.

Hi Penny,

it is good to see that you are well, the pictures were cool.

I have a political post on my blog, and want your honest, but nice opinion.

A new blogger just left me a racist, and rude comment, I had to delete her....lol

See you soon,
Jess

So the big yellow school bus is not such a terrible thing after all, huh?? I'm loving that lazy feeling, too, when Sophia goes off on the bus and it's just me and my coffee cup - does that make me a bad mom??

I don't think that makes us bad moms. Just moms taking advantage of our new found breathing room :)!

Yo, could you take the black background off your blog so I can still read what you wrote while its loading on my sllloooww dial-up connection? It's in the settings where you change the colors, Your decorative background will still be there. Thanks.

The Kilpatrick deal....how you say sucks a major big one. Politics just gives me ulcers, I know I should be more involved, concerned, etc. but it just irritates me.

Sounds like the girls hit the ground running at PS. I took the first week to sleep, rest, and rejuvenate when the boys first went in. Now I'm better at taking advantage of my time during the day. So with that said, better get crackin'!

Cheers!

Had no idea it had a black background. All gone.
